October, 1009, Shop Local-Give Local
The Women In You sponsored campaign to raise awareness for the
local YWCA " Encore Plus" Breast Health raised a total of
$736.00.
By shopping at designated local South Coast, MA merchants from Thursday,
October 15 through Saturday, October 17, 10% of the sales proceeds
were donated to the program which provides outreach and
educational information to women regarding breast and cervical
health.

April 2, 2009, Rita Straus Berkowitz, Spirit Artist Book Signing in
Dartmouth, MA. In order to bring awareness to HealthWise Alternatives and www.thewomeninyou.info,
a book signing was held at Baker Books. Rita Straus Berkowitz was on hand to
sign copies of her books "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Communicating with
